Come Cricket on iPhone: What Works and What Doesn't

TL;DR

Come Cricket is distributed as an Android APK, and APK files cannot run on an iPhone. We have not confirmed any App Store listing. Files sold as an "iOS APK" and pages asking you to install a configuration profile are the main things to avoid.

Come Cricket is the cricket section of the Come APK app, and an APK is an Android file. An iPhone cannot open or install it. No App Store listing has been confirmed to us, so the honest answer for iPhone users today is that the Android app does not work on iOS.

Does Come Cricket work on iPhone?

Come Cricket does not work on iPhone in its APK form. The app is packaged for Android, and iOS cannot install Android packages. Unless the developer publishes a separate iOS app through the App Store, there is no legitimate way to run the Android app on an Apple phone.

comeapk.live is an independent informational site. We are not the developer and we are not affiliated with Apple. For background on the app, start at our Come Cricket guide home.

Why can an APK file not run on iOS?

An APK file cannot run on iOS because it is an Android application package, built for Android's runtime, libraries and security model. An iPhone uses a different package format, different system libraries and a different signing system, so iOS has nothing that can open an APK.

Think of it as two different engines. An APK contains code compiled for Android and a manifest written for Android. iOS apps are delivered in Apple's own format and must be signed in a way that iOS accepts.

Renaming the file does nothing. Changing .apk to .ipa does not convert the contents, in the same way that renaming a text file to .mp3 does not make it play music.

Is there a Come Cricket listing on the App Store?

No Come Cricket App Store listing has been confirmed to us at the time of writing. If you find an app with a similar name in the App Store, do not assume it is the same product. Check the developer name, the description and the privacy details carefully.

If you want to judge an App Store listing yourself:

  • Read the developer name under the app title and see what else that developer has published.
  • Open the App Privacy section and read what data the app says it collects.
  • Check the age rating.
  • Read the description for what the app actually does, rather than relying on the name.
  • Be cautious about any listing whose description promises money or winnings.

We do not know the developer's publishing name, so we cannot tell you which name to look for. If that changes, this page will be updated.

Why are "iOS APK" files and configuration profiles risky?

An "iOS APK" does not exist, so any file offered under that name is either useless or harmful. Configuration profiles are riskier still, because installing one from an unknown source can hand another party control over settings, network traffic and trusted certificates on your iPhone.

These are the patterns to watch for:

  • Fake "iOS APK" downloads. At best you receive a file that will not open. At worst the page exists to collect your phone number, show aggressive adverts or push you towards something else.
  • Configuration profiles. A page asks you to tap Allow, and then to install a profile in Settings. A profile can add a VPN, change how your traffic is routed, or install a certificate that lets someone read data you thought was encrypted.
  • Enterprise or "trust this developer" installs. Some sites distribute apps using certificates meant for a company's internal staff. Apple can revoke these at any time, the apps have not been through App Store review, and you are asked to trust an unknown developer manually.
  • Device management enrolment. If a prompt mentions "remote management" or says an organisation will be able to manage your iPhone, cancel it. A cricket app has no reason to manage your device.
  • Jailbreak instructions. Jailbreaking removes iOS protections, can break banking and payment apps, and still does not let an iPhone run Android apps.
  • Requests for your Apple ID password. No app guide needs it. Enter it only in Apple's own screens.

The common thread is simple: any method that asks you to weaken your iPhone's protections to install a cricket app is a bad trade.

How do I remove a profile I installed by mistake?

To remove a configuration profile installed by mistake, open the Settings app on your iPhone, go to General, then VPN & Device Management, select the profile and choose Remove Profile. Afterwards, restart the phone and change the passwords for your important accounts.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Tap VPN & Device Management. If you cannot see this entry, no profile is installed.
  4. Tap the profile you do not recognise.
  5. Tap Remove Profile and enter your passcode.
  6. Under the same screen, check that no unknown VPN is listed.
  7. Restart the iPhone.
  8. Change your Apple ID password and your banking passwords, ideally from another trusted device.
  9. Delete any app that arrived with the profile.

Menu names can differ slightly between iOS versions. Apple's own instructions are on Apple Support. If you entered banking details on a page connected with the profile, contact your bank straight away. CERT-In also publishes advisories on mobile threats at cert-in.org.in.

What honest options do iPhone users have?

iPhone users have three honest options for Come Cricket: use a separate Android phone, follow the cricket through this site's guides and other legitimate sources, or wait for a confirmed App Store release. None of them involves workarounds, and none puts the iPhone at risk.

If you have a spare Android phone, read Is the Come Cricket APK safe? first and then the download and install guide for Android. The usual conditions apply: the app is for adults aged 18 and above, and you should check the rules for your state.

If what you really want is help following a match, you do not need the app. Our match previews hub covers pitch, toss and weather in a general way and opens in Safari. For other options on your phone, see Come Cricket vs other cricket apps.

Does Indian gaming law apply differently on iPhone?

Indian gaming law does not depend on the type of phone. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 prohibits offering and advertising online money games, including paid fantasy contests, and the rule applies whether a service is reached from Android, an iPhone or a web browser.

Some states are commonly cited as having their own restrictions, including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Assam, Odisha, Nagaland and Sikkim. Rules and enforcement details can change, so check official sources. This is general information, not legal advice.

It also means that a page promising iPhone users a way to "win" through a special download deserves double caution: once for the technical claim, and once for the wording. Our responsible gaming page explains how to keep any gaming app in proportion.

Frequently asked questions

Can I convert an APK to work on my iPhone?

No. An APK contains code built for Android, and no converter can turn it into a working iPhone app. Websites and tools that claim to convert APK files for iOS do not deliver a usable app and may put your data at risk.

Is Come Cricket available on the App Store?

No listing has been confirmed to us. If you see a similarly named app, check the developer name, the privacy details and the description before installing, and do not assume it is connected to the Android app.

Is it safe to install a profile to get the app on iOS?

No. A configuration profile from an unknown website can change network settings, add certificates and expose your traffic. A cricket app does not need one. If you have already installed such a profile, remove it in Settings and change your passwords.

Will jailbreaking my iPhone let me install the APK?

No. Jailbreaking removes Apple's protections but does not make iOS able to run Android apps. It can also stop banking and payment apps from working and leaves the phone more exposed to malware. It is not worth doing for any cricket app.

What is the safest choice for iPhone users right now?

Do not install anything from outside the App Store. Follow matches through trusted sources and the general guides on this site, and wait for a confirmed release. If you own an Android phone, you can consider the app there after running the safety checks.
