Come Cricket Login and Install Errors: 9 Fixes That Work

Written by: comeapk.live editorial team

TL;DR

Most Come Cricket install and login problems come from ordinary Android causes: a broken download, a blocked install permission, low storage, a weak network or a wrong clock. Work through the nine fixes below in order.

Come Cricket is the cricket section of the Come APK app, installed on Android from a file rather than from Google Play. When it will not install or log in, the cause is usually a general Android issue, not something unique to the app. These nine fixes cover the most common Android errors.

What should I check first when Come Cricket will not install or log in?

When Come Cricket will not install or log in, first identify which stage is failing: downloading the file, installing it, or signing in. Each stage has its own causes, and matching your symptom to the right fix saves time and avoids unnecessary reinstalls.

What you seeStageStart with
"App not installed"InstallFix 1
"There was a problem parsing the package"InstallFix 2
A message that unknown apps are not allowedInstallFix 3
"Not enough storage"InstallFix 4
OTP never arrivesLoginFix 5
Endless loading or "No connection"LoginFix 6
App freezes or shows old dataLoginFix 7
"Session expired" or a security errorLoginFix 8

Remember that the app is for adults aged 18 and above. If you have never installed it before, follow the download and install guide for Android instead of this page.

Fix 1: Why does Android say "App not installed"?

The "App not installed" message appears when Android rejects an APK after the installation has started. The usual causes are a damaged file, a conflict with a copy already on the phone, an attempt to install an older version over a newer one, or too little free storage.

  1. Delete the downloaded file and download it again on a stable connection.
  2. Check whether the app is already installed. If it is, you are updating, not installing.
  3. Make sure the new file is not older than the installed version. Android blocks downgrades.
  4. Free up storage and try again.

If the message mentions a conflicting package, the new file's signature does not match the installed app. That is a safety check, not a fault. Our update guide explains what to do.

Fix 2: What causes "There was a problem parsing the package"?

A parse error means Android could not read the APK file. The common causes are an incomplete or corrupted download, a file that is not really an APK, or an app built for a newer Android version than the one on your phone.

  • Check the download. A file of zero bytes did not finish downloading. Download it again.
  • Check the extension. The file must end in .apk. A file ending in .zip, .apks or .xapk is a different kind of package that the standard installer cannot open.
  • Check your Android version. Your version is shown under Settings > About phone. We cannot confirm the app's minimum version.

Fix 3: How do I allow installs from unknown sources safely?

Android blocks installation from files by default. To allow it safely, grant the "Install unknown apps" permission only to the single app you are using to open the APK, such as your browser or file manager, and switch the permission off again as soon as the installation finishes.

  1. Tap the downloaded APK. Android shows a security message.
  2. Tap Settings in that message.
  3. Turn on Allow from this source for that one app.
  4. Go back and tap Install.
  5. Afterwards, open Settings > Apps > Special app access > Install unknown apps and turn the permission off.

Menu names vary by phone brand. Google's general instructions are on Android Help.

Do not disable Google Play Protect to get past a warning. If it flags the file as harmful, stop. See Is the Come Cricket APK safe? for the checks to run first.

Fix 4: How much free storage does an install need?

An APK install needs noticeably more free storage than the size of the file itself, because Android has to hold the download, unpack it and then optimise the app. If the phone's internal storage is nearly full, the installation fails or stops halfway.

We cannot state the app's size. As a rule of thumb, keep at least a few hundred megabytes free before installing anything.

  • Open Settings > Storage to see what is using space.
  • Clear old downloads, including earlier APK files.
  • Uninstall apps you no longer use.

Fix 5: Why is the login OTP not arriving?

A login OTP usually fails to arrive because of the mobile network, the SIM or SMS filtering on the phone, not because of the app. Weak signal, a blocked sender, a full inbox or repeated requests in a short time are the common causes.

We cannot confirm exactly how the app's login works. If it sends a one-time password by SMS, try these in order:

  1. Confirm that you typed the right mobile number.
  2. Check that the SIM is in this phone and has signal.
  3. Wait for the timer to finish before tapping resend. Many rapid requests can trigger a temporary block.
  4. Look in the spam or blocked folder of your messages app.
  5. Restart the phone and request one fresh code.

Never share an OTP with anyone claiming to be support. A genuine service does not ask for it.

Fix 6: Could my network be blocking the app?

A network problem can make a working app look broken. If Come Cricket shows endless loading, a blank screen or a connection error, the cause may be weak mobile data, a restrictive Wi-Fi network, a VPN or data saver mode.

  • Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see whether one works.
  • Turn off any VPN. Do not use one to get around a location restriction.
  • Office, college and public Wi-Fi networks often block gaming categories. Try a different network.

If the app is unavailable in your state, that is not a network fault to be fixed. India's 2025 online gaming law restricts online money games, and some states have their own rules. Rules can change, so check official sources and our state-by-state overview.

Fix 7: When should I clear the app cache or data?

Clear the app cache when the app opens but freezes, shows outdated screens or fails after an update. Clearing the cache removes temporary files only. Clearing data or storage goes further: it resets the app and signs you out, so confirm your login details first.

  1. Open Settings > Apps > Come.
  2. Tap Force stop.
  3. Tap Storage and cache, then Clear cache.
  4. If the problem remains, tap Clear storage on the same screen and sign in again.

Fix 8: Can the wrong date and time break login?

A wrong date, time or time zone can break login on almost any app. Secure connections rely on certificates that are valid for a set period, and time-limited codes depend on the phone's clock matching the server's, so even a small error can cause failures.

  1. Open Settings > System > Date and time.
  2. Turn on Set time automatically.
  3. Turn on Set time zone automatically.
  4. Restart the phone and try to log in again.

Fix 9: When is a clean reinstall the right fix?

A clean reinstall is the right fix only after the other eight have failed, because uninstalling removes the app's local data. A clean reinstall means removing the app completely, restarting the phone, downloading a fresh APK from your original source and installing it again.

  1. Note your registered mobile number or email.
  2. Uninstall the app from Settings > Apps.
  3. Delete old APK files from the Downloads folder and restart the phone.
  4. Download a fresh copy from the same source you trusted before.
  5. Let Play Protect scan the file, then install it.
  6. Sign in and check that your profile is correct.

What if none of the nine fixes work?

If none of the nine fixes work, stop changing settings and gather the facts: the exact error message, your phone model, your Android version and the step at which the failure happens. Those details are what any support channel will need to help you.

  • Use only the support route shown inside the app or by your original source. We cannot confirm the support contact.
  • Be wary of "support" numbers found in search results or social media comments.
  • Check our FAQ for related questions.

Sometimes the sensible answer is to leave it. A cricket app is optional, and our responsible gaming page has advice if it is taking more of your attention than you would like.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the app install on a friend's phone but not mine?

Phones differ in Android version, free storage, security settings and manufacturer restrictions. A file that installs on one handset can fail on another for any of those reasons. Compare the Android versions first, then work through fixes one to four.

Is it safe to turn off Play Protect to install the app?

No. Play Protect is not the cause of ordinary install errors such as parse errors or low storage. If it specifically flags the file as harmful, that is a reason to stop, not an obstacle to remove. Keep it switched on.

Will clearing data delete my account?

Clearing data removes what is stored on the phone and signs you out. An account held on the service's servers should remain. Make sure you know your registered number or email before clearing data, so that you can sign back in.

Can I use these fixes on an iPhone?

No. These steps are for Android. APK files do not run on iOS, so install errors on an iPhone have a different cause altogether. Read our guide to Come Cricket on iPhone for the honest options available to Apple users.
